Most of these images were obtained using either a Canon EOS 50D or EOS 400D Digital SLR camera with a range of lenses from 18 - 400mm focal length, or a Canon IXUS 400 compact camera.

For Astrophotography the telescopes used were a Skywatcher Evostar 80ED Pro Refractor and a home built 222mm / f5.8 Newtonian telescope mounted on a Skywatcher HEQ5 Pro SynScan German Equatorial Mount (GEM). Previously I used a Skywatcher EQ5 SynScan mount and a Tal-2M 150mm/f8 Newtonian telescope. Telescope guiding is by a QHY5 guide camera and an old 400mm camera lens as a guidescope, Recently upgraded my mount to a HEQ5 Pro mount, pictures of the setup in the Astronomy / Equipment section.
